Roger Doumanian, Esq.

Meet Roger
Roger Doumanian has spent the last 14 years helping clients protect their business interests through personalized legal advice and representation. His practice is focused on business and corporate law, contract drafting and negotiations, as well as trademark registration and protection and domain name dispute resolution. Roger is licensed to practice law in the states of California and Texas. He speaks English, Armenian, and Spanish.
Experience
Roger has advised and represented clients on a full spectrum of business transactions, including business formation, corporate and limited liability company (LLC) compliance matters, business sale and purchase transactions, trademark registration, maintenance, and cease-and-desist matters, contract negotiations and dispute settlement matters, as well as numerous other business issues and matters.
Education
Roger graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2001 and Southwestern Law School (formerly Southwestern University School of Law) in 2005. He passed the bar and has been licensed to practice law in the state of California since 2005.
Admissions & Memberships
Roger is currently admitted as a member of the State Bar of California, the United States District Court – Central District of California, and the State Bar of Texas. Roger is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Santa Clarita Bar Association, and the Ventura County Bar Association. He has been a guest speaker for various business organizations and on radio shows for KRLA and Radio Nueva Vida.
Authorship
Roger is the author of The 6 Pillars of Business Success: Doing Business Right, which was published in July of 2018 by 6 Pillars Publishing. The purpose of this book is to help business owners understand the anatomy of a successful business. The 6 Pillars of Business Success is not just another book written to get people excited about doing business without teaching them how to do it right. Rather, this book contains tested and proven methods that, if properly implemented, can result in a business with a solid foundation that is independent of a fluctuating economy. Meet Carl
Carl Kanowsky has over 25 years’ experience in handling the majority of business transactional matters, as both in-house counsel to large corporations as well as a member of large Century City law firms. His experience runs the gamut from business to real estate law in both transactional and litigation arenas.
Experience
Carl has represented clients in the purchase and sale of multi-million dollar companies; negotiated and drafted contracts for businesses and entertainment companies; litigated complex lawsuits involving cutting-edge issues in employment and other areas of law and advised clients on the formation and operation of corporations and limited liability companies. Carl is also experienced in real property sales transactions, commercial leases, and financing of property purchases. Carl’s clients regularly consult him on numerous business issues, such as product distribution, restraint of trade, and violations of the Uniform Commercial Code. His practice also includes representing themed entertainment businesses, and background support (e.g., studio and equipment rental, production know-how, animal training, etc.) that the entertainment business needs to get a production completed.
Paula Doumanian
Office Manager
Meet Paula
As our office manager, Paula Doumanian is committed to our “client-centric” business philosophy. Paula is the first point of contact for clients and manages the daily operations and calendaring needs for our law office. She joined our team in 2017 and has been a great addition to our law practice ever since. She speaks English, Spanish, and naturally, being married to someone whose last name ends with “ian”, a few words in Armenian… just enough to get her in trouble as she puts it.
Experience
Paula started her career as a banker with Great Western Bank, then moved on to join an international interpreting and translation company, playing a key role in customer acquisition, retention, and billing. After taking a few years off to have her first child, she returned to the workforce by joining the management team of a technology company that provides web and online marketing services to clients around the globe. In 2017, Paula joined the legal team at Roger Doumanian, Attorney at Law, APC and has since done an excellent job at managing the daily operations of our law office.
Education
Paula graduated from College of the Canyons and received her Associate Degree in social sciences in 2000. She is married to attorney Roger Doumanian and is the mother of two beautiful children.
